Oh yeah, we had a lot of fun last weekend

Last weekend we went to the Oregon Zoo in Portland for Father's Day and Jack's 3rd birthday. We made a whole weekend of it, actually. We went down on Friday night and met up with Andre (it was only a two hour drive for him). Saturday morning we went to Saturday market, which was interesting. They have a beautiful old fire station downtown that they let us go inside and see the poles and trucks. My mom watched the girls for us that night and we walked around downtown a little and then went to dinner and then to a brewery. It was nice to just take it easy. We did the zoo on Sunday. It's huge. It took us about 3 hours to go through it and we didn't even get to see anything b/c some of the exhibits were closed. The girls were pretty exhausted by that time, though, so I'm not sure we could've done much else. They have a dinosaur exhibit right now and it about scared Victoria to death. If you ask her what her favorite animal was, she says, "not the dinosaurs." It's pretty funny.
